I worked with the incredible Michelin Starred Chef Paul Ainsworth to bring to life his childhood memories in dessert form. I hand painted 8 individual fairground carousels to serve the nostalgic dream which Paul and his wonderful team have created. It was great to see this launched on BBC Masterchef in November.



Butterbelle was founded in 2015 by Zoe Harrison, whilst studying for her degree in Food, Nutrition and Wellbeing at Harper Adams University in Shropshire. Over the four years there she specialised in the relationship between food, nutrition and human health, giving Zoe an insight into the areas of advanced aspects of human nutrition, food policy, ethics and law, food security and sustainable food production. Butterbelle began quite by accident during Zoe’s third year of study and has flourished into a successful Artisan Nut & Seed Butter Co.

Zoe contacted me back in 2017 for a rebrand of her existing logo and branding, she wanted the new branding to echo her strong ethical values for the business and the simplicity of the ingredients in each jar.

In 2018, Butterbelle had grown considerable amount and had produced 12 new flavours that needed sustainable packaging to compliment the new branding. I was commissioned to create a series of highly detailed botanical illustrations for the new Butterbelle packaging and digital assets, as well as the 13 product jar label designs for each of the flavours. The Butterbelle packaging is totally reusable and recyclable and the labels are printed bagasse sugar cane fibre labels, which are 100% biodegradable.
