Proudfoot & Co is a wonderful Winchester-based zero-alcohol bar, built around the ritual of the cocktail without the spirit. They asked me to produce a set of botanical illustrations for their foraged cocktail programme.

I worked the illustrations in pen and ink, treating each cocktail's foraged botanicals — hedgerow, herb and garden plant — as specimen studies rendered in the detail the subject rewards. The set was built to sit as a coherent family across the bar's menu and print material, while each drawing carried the botanical character of a single drink.

The illustrations appear across Proudfoot & Co's menu and brand collateral at their Winchester bar.
